[Kisagi] Break Down

Yosh! So it has been quite a while since I last tried to do an various anime amv so here it is! I had free time on my hands and after I heard this song I thought it would be quite interesting to edit to since I don't necessarily edit to this kind of music, but in the end I enjoyed it and finished this video rather quickly.

If I had a dollar for every time I've seen that overlay I'd be rich as fuck, your AMV isn't bad but all the lighting and overlays got a bit repetitive and that doesn't help because its messy already, some of your transitions were cool while others really lacked in the way it flowed. Another thing is you should be careful with the sources you use, the selection of sources wasn't anything completely wrong with the ones you use but sometimes it just looked off in my opinion. Overall I feel like there wasn't anything that would keep the viewer wanting more but its still cool, I'll look forward to your next AMV.

The overlay was repetitive? I only used it in 3 places, I'll decrease it to one place next time then.

I'll start by letting you know I didn't like the song, and the poor quality of the audio just kinda adds to that. So It was a bit harder for me to enjoy the video but I'll tell you what I think regardless. The overlay isn't too repetitive really it is more of the constant brightness/contrast changes that are repetitive and overdone. I'll just kinda list some of the problems I have with the video:

- Some anime don't match too well (mainly Blood Lad)
- Abrupt cuts
- Slowed down/laggy scenes
- Frame blending (especially in the dynamic scenes)
- The brightness/contrast effect is repetitive and overdone
- It was just messy in general (mainly because of the last two points)
- Colours/colouring style changing drastically (red Fairy Tail scenes at 0:26 for an example)

That's pretty much most of it, not really mentioning the things I mentioned in previous comments to other videos because I already made my points there. But still it's nice to see you're editing constantly, it's good to step out of your comfort zone and try new things. That's how you'll improve with anything you do in life. I'd like to see you do something ambitious (although not too ambitious haha) and spend a decent bit of time one it.
