Need Help with Effects?

Want to create effects that look cool but u dont know how to achieve?

the blood splash effect for the entry/exist of the text in this outro

im not entirely sure how the creater created this but i would create through C4D by creating Matrix for each text with the effect Metaball on the text which gives it liquid properties. Using the Matrix to control the each individual letter.

I got a question on Benreparn's latest AMV. At 01:54 he does a sort of flash and reversal of his clip to go with the beats. How did he do that?

There are several ways of achiving this effect, my way is pretty easy if you have twitch.
Im using an overlay on top of the "regular" clip then simply add a twitch layer with some sort of blinking and time it right, then also add some time alteration. You can of course do the blinking manually as well as the time skipping.

It was some clip from a DJmax game, yeah, you can add a light of some sort if that's easier. can also do it tandem with opacity on the overlay if you want that reveal kind of feeling.
